★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「道の駅かよう」から近い位置にあります。本堂、三十番神堂、日蓮上人の大きな石像の３か所に香炉がありましたので、線香をお供えしました。こちらのお寺で何度か御首題をいただいていますが、繊細な文字で美しいです。
It is located near "Roadside Station Kayo". There were incense burners in three places, the main hall, the 30th shrine, and the large stone statue of Nichiren Shonin, so we offered incense sticks. I have received the title several times at this temple, but the delicate characters are beautiful.

日蓮宗総本山は山梨県身延町の身延山久遠寺であります
が、
妙本寺が西の拠点と言うことで、
西身延と呼ばれています。
妙本寺に１０回参拝すると身延山久遠寺に１回お参りするのと同じになるらしいです。
本堂横には国の重要文化財の妙本寺番神堂があります。
駐車場は無料で沢山あります。
お年寄りの方は、本堂まで自動車で行けます。
トイレは新しくてそこそこ綺麗です。
※客観的に普通の物が『最高』の評価にはなりません。

Kuonji Temple is the head temple of Kuonji Temple in Minobu Town, Yamanashi Prefecture.

By saying that Myohonji is the base in the west,
It is called Nishi Minobu.
It seems that visiting Myohonji Temple 10 times is the same as visiting Minobuyama Kuonji Temple once.
Next to the main hall is the Myohonji Banjindo, which is an important cultural property of Japan.
There are plenty of free parking lots.
Elderly people can drive to the main hall.
The toilet is new and reasonably clean.
