★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There’s quite a line. I’ve seen it a few times going to the station so I wanted to try it. I waited about 30 minutes on a weekday at 3:00pm so not exactly the lunch rush. 30 minutes isn’t too bad IMO. Everyone in line was a foreigner so I am guessing it was featured on a travel site? Waiting in line, there are a lot of signs scolding foreigners on proper line manners—like Japanese people never cut in line to stand by their friends! As if!
I thought the broth was very rich and complex. I believed the sign about the miraculous healing salt after I tasted it. The noodles were not too exciting. The pork was thick and juicy, would be worth coming back for. I also had gyoza which were ok & came with a great red condiment I really need to look up. The table has garlic and other extras to up the ramen level. Also has jasmine tea (you can mix with hot water or cold) and water to drink and you can get beer of course.
I do think it’s expensive compared to other ramen places. The no.1 basic Mutekiya Ramen was ¥1200, hmm.
The staff were very kind and enthusiastic. I think they take pride in their work and have fun at their jobs.
3 stars just because I probably won’t wait in line for it again. But definitely satisfied my ramen craving today!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No wonder the queue to enter this shop is very long, it's worth it! The soup of this ramen is thick and very rich in flavor. Smells very very nice. And the pork meat... the chasiu... are soft and tender and juicy! Try their "tower layer of chasiu" ramen!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always a great place to go for some delicious ramen. The chashu is the best! It's sooo thick as well, smallest size is at least 1cm thick.
The broth is rich and not too oily. The eggs are perfectly medium boiled. The pricing is fair as well.
I have been here many times and always bring a friend or 2. But be warned the shop is small and has limited space so larger groups will have to wait longer. And there is almost always a line no matter what time of day you go.
One of the silly dishes they have is a 1kg of meat ramen, it's just huge super thick slices of chashu and and some noodles. I have had it once and it was good but way too much for me to finish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here on a Sunday around 11:30am and had to wait about an hour before getting seated. Our orders were taken while we were queuing up so by the time we sat down, our orders were brought out almost immediately. Because we had waited so long in the cold, we were all hungry and decided to opt for some extras like vegetables and pork. I ended up struggling to finish the extra toppings because the original bowl had more than enough in it. The roast pork slices were truly thick cut and extremely tender and flavourful. The noodles were made with special Hokkaido flour and perfectly al dente. The intense pork flavour of the soup was incredibly delicious but not too oily. The soft yolk eggs were tasty and perfectly gooey. The vegetables were a refreshing addition to the meat and broth. Definitely one of the best ramen I've ever had.

The best ramen I've had so far in my recent memory, and a highlight of our last night in Tokyo, can't say any better ^^
