W	W. L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Above average museum just off the Narita airport but need to take a bus or taxi to from the airport. Will take about an hour to go through the museum. Deck five provides pretty good view of one of the two runways of Narita. Outdoor area has a few more smaller helicopter and airplanes displayed, including the pretty YS-11 aircraft. Worth a visit if you are a plane enthusiast !
P	Peter Losi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are an aviation fan (geek) this is a must do on a layover at Narita. They have an excellent collection of displays and planes. I recommend doing the simulator experience. There is also great views of the airport to watch planes landing and taking off. There is also a simulated tower experience with a restaurant. I was able to Uber over. Getting back with Uber to a little longer bc someone had to come out. I was able to interact with out knowing much Japanese.

It has flight simulators for kids and adults along with lots of Boeing747 related stuff. The are numerous observation decks and a restaurant. Probably the coolest thing for me are the general aviation aircraft outside. Relatively mundane airplanes in the US are in museum pedestals here. It's talky cool to see how excited people get about flying here.
