早慶に次ぐ首都圏の名門大学グループであるGMARCH(学習院大学、明治大学、青山学院大学、立教大学、中央大学、法政大学)や成成明学(成蹊大学、成城大学、明治学院大学)日東駒専(日本大学、東洋大学、駒澤大学、専修大学クラスに受験生が流れてしまったり、不合格になって武蔵大学に進学する者も多いが、実際は日東駒専成成明学未満の大学ではエリート大学。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 私の母校（経済学部卒）です。初年度から教養ゼミを必須科目として履修して、内外から「ゼミの武蔵」と呼ばれる程に、学生の自主的な学びを重視しています。この伝統は現在にも引き継がれています。また、教授や講師の方々や、関わって下さった大学職員の方々にも恵まれて、ここでの４年間のキャンパスライフは、私の人生に大きなよい影響を与えてくれています。規模も小さくて、いわゆる「偏差値」という物差しで測ると、上位の大学は数多くありますが、学生に対するサポートが手厚い「首都圏にある穴場の大学」として、入学を検討するに値するオススメの大学です。

一方で、パラレルディグリー等教育に力を入れている堅実なイメージの学校とも思う。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この大学、知ってる人、東京でも少ないと思うね。自分の住んでる(東京100キロ圏内)では全く無名。さらに調べると武蔵野大学とやらあるので尚更カオス。とても残念な大学です。やはり知名度というのはある程度は重要事項ですね。

桜のキャンパスも見ごたえあります。大学正門前の交差点表示もふつうＴ字路には設置されないそうですが、関係方面のご理解により、その公共性を配慮していただいて設置されました。もう、20年ほど前のことでしょうか？
