下りホーム(盛岡行)は階段しかないので、重い荷物や身体の不自由な人には辛い。上りホーム(北上・一ノ関行)は逆に乗りやすい。駅前にTAXI会社有り。バス停は遠い。駅員さん【昼休み有り】と券売機【現金だけ】あります。売店は自販機【Suica使用可】のみ。

On the contrary, the up platform (Kitakami / Ichinoseki line) is easy to get on. There is a TAXI company in front of the station. The bus stop is far away. There is a station employee [with lunch break] and a ticket vending machine [cash only]. Only vending machines [Suica can be used] are available at the shop.
