定番の西蔵王とは反対の方角ですがとてもきれいに見えますし人もそんなにいないのゆっくり夜景を楽しむことが出来ます。駐車場もありますので車に乗ったままでも夜景が見れますので寒い季節などは車の中で楽しめます。
It is my favorite night view in Yamagata.
It is the opposite direction from the classic Nishi Zao, but it looks very beautiful and there are not so many people so you can enjoy the night view slowly. There is also a parking lot so you can see the night view while you are in the car, so you can enjoy it in a car during the cold season.

通った際にたまたま見つけました。
山形市内を見渡すことができます。
山形県道17号線白鷹山形線沿いにあります。
ちなみにこの道路は狐越街道とも呼ばれております。
この道路は山沿いに入ると全体的に離合は可能ですが狭路気味となっておりますので通行時は注意願います。
展望台周辺には木造の展望スポットと休憩所(屋根付きベンチとイス)、それと3台から4台程度止めれる駐車場があります。
私が訪れたのは夕方頃だったのですがとても綺麗でした。
夜行ったらもっと綺麗に見れると思います。
もし通る機会がありましたら休憩がてら訪れるのをおすすめします。

I happened to find it when I passed.
You can overlook the city of Yamagata.
It is located along Yamagata Prefectural Route 17 Shirataka Yamagata Line.
By the way, this road is also called the Kitsune Kaido.
This road can be separated as a whole when entering the mountain, but it is a narrow road, so please be careful when passing.
Around the observatory, there are wooden observatory spots, rest areas (covered benches and chairs), and a parking lot where 3 to 4 cars can be parked.
I visited there in the evening, but it was very beautiful.
If you go at night, you can see it more beautifully.
If you have a chance to go through, I recommend you to visit after a break.

道路もしっかり整備させているのお勧めの穴場スポットです
