★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 犬山駅から名鉄広美線で善師野駅に向かいそこから標識に従い東海自然歩道に進みます。犬山城まで繋がる約2時間半のハイキングです。継鹿尾山頂上は展望台のある広場で濃尾平野を見下ろす景勝地です。また、中腹には継鹿尾観音または寂光院があります。大きな寺で多くの参拝者が訪れていました。それほどきつくなく程よいコースです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful beginner/intermediate hike. Combination of well maintained steps and nature trails. Good for a 1/2 day. 40 mins. Up, less down but can go more leisurely. Nice look out viewing Kiso river, Inuyama, and even the tall buildings of Nagoya city. Part of the Nakasendo Nature Trail.
