★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日帰りのため宿泊はしていませんが、キレイだし水場もすぐ脇にあるし泊まりたいと思えるような避難小屋でした。

ガラス張りのため断熱効果に難有り。
野生動物からの防犯にも問題が有るのでは。
泊まる為にはそれなりの装備と覚悟が必要。

外にはベンチもあるので、暑いときや寒いときの休憩にも便利です。

ガラス張りの箇所が多いので冬場は寒いが、逆に夏場は窓を開ければ湿気がこもることはない。天井も高くコテージに泊まってると錯覚してしまう。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御前山山頂から栃寄方面に１０分位下り、傾斜がすこし緩くなった場所に南向きに建っています。窓は開口部の大きなガラス戸で、そのおかげで小屋の内部は明るいのですが、そのトレードオフとして断熱効果はよろしくなく、特に冬場の明け方は底冷えするので注意が必要です。
水は西側の小沢で手に入れることができますが、飲用不適の注意書きがあるのでそのまま飲むのは止めたほうがいいと思います。トイレは小屋の東側にあります。
小屋のエントランス部分は周りを木の板で囲った屋根付きスペースで、囲いの内側はベンチになっています。この囲いが風の吹き込みを防いでくれるので、ストーブを使用する休憩には適しています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御前山から登山道を東へ少し歩くと分岐の案内があり、木々の向こうに建物がちらっと見えます。展望が良いとの看板があったため、予定していなかったけれど立ち寄りました。丸太小屋で屋根が高く、きれいにされているな、という印象です。トイレもありますが、掃除をみてくれていたボランティアさんが辞めてしまったため、使ったら自分で掃除をしていってくださいって掲示がありました。紙は捨てられないため、目の前のゴミ箱に入れるようになっています。景色は大岳山や御岳山(尖ったのが奥ノ院かな)方面だけ開けていてよく見えます。

Since paper cannot be thrown away, it is designed to be put in the trash can in front of you. The scenery is open only in the direction of Mt. Otake and Mt. Mitake (the point is Okunoin).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Emergency shelter near Mr Gozenyama is quite clean and well maintained. It has an attached toilet which can be used freely. Nearby there is a small streamed which can be used as a water source most of time, not sure if it runs perennially. Some emergency equipment like spare helmets and spades are stowed in hut. The view is open on one side which offers good view of Mt Odake and mountains beyond,
