★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 八高線の非電化区間にある駅ですが、行き違いはできます。ただ、このあたりはJRよりも近くを走る東武鉄道のほうが使いやすく利用客も多いため、この駅の列車の本数はやや少なく、1～2時間に1本程度です。
 It is a station in the non-electrified section of the Hachiko Line, but you can make a mistake. However, the Tobu Railway, which runs closer to JR, is easier to use and has more passengers, so the number of trains at this station is slightly smaller, about one per hour or two.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 埼玉医科大学病院?への最寄り駅ということで、毛呂駅を利用させていただきました❗ 八高線には今回初めて?乗りました。時刻表を見たら、通勤時間帯以外は1時間に1本しか?走っていないようですが… 電車も駅も駅の周辺も、ゆったりと時間が流れているように感じて＆なんか、味があっていい駅だな～と感じました?✨
The nearest station to Saitama Medical University Hospital, I used Moro Station, and for the first time I rode on the Hachiko Line. If you look at the timetable, it seems that only one train is running per hour except during commuting time ... but the train, the station and the area around the station also feel like time is flowing slowly & something, taste I felt that it was a good station.

Take the Hidaka Line iron and get off on the way. Not so far from the city, but nostalgic country station.

お金はないのに暇だったので青春18切符で旅をしました。八高線はあくまでローカルでいかにも旅をしているっていう雰囲気にさせてくれました。もう一度行きたいです。
I was surprised at the station name.
Since I had no money but I was free, I traveled with the 18th ticket for youth. The Hachiko Line made me feel as if I was traveling locally. I want to go again

駅舎は昭和八年に建てられた木造の建物で非常に趣があります。
落ち着いた雰囲気のホーム上には懐かしのホーロー製の案内が設置されていたりと、なかなかにレトロな雰囲気を感じることができます。
駅舎内のベンチには座布団が敷かれていたりとどこか温かみのあるこの駅。
都内からもそう遠くはありませんので用事がなくても一度訪れてみると良いかもしれません。
本数は時間帯によっては非常に少ないので注意が必要かも？
