★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 施設自体は古いですが、落ち着いた雰囲気で読書や勉強が捗ります。
奥に自習室があり、学生の方も多いです。
The facility itself is old, but you can read and study in a calm atmosphere.
There is a self-study room in the back, and there are many students.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 他の市立図書館からの取り寄せも使うとかなりのジャンルが揃います。県立図書館の利用カードを持っていればそこからの借り入れも可能。
司書が皆キビキビと働いているのが好印象てす。忙しそうに色々な作業をされていますが、カウンター等での来館者への対応は丁寧。声が小さめの人が多いのは図書館らしさというものでしょうか。
2018.11追記
スタッフの異動があったのか着任の時間帯が変わったのか、雰囲気が変わっているように感じます。
県立図書館へ返却するバッグを座席を立たずに離れた箱のなかに投げ入れるなど本の扱いが荒々しい方がいるのには驚きました。
If you use orders from other municipal libraries, you will find quite a few genres. If you have a card for using the prefectural library, you can borrow from it.
I have a good impression that all the librarians are working hard. Although he seems to be busy doing various tasks, he is polite in responding to visitors at the counter. Is it a library-like thing that many people have a quiet voice?

I feel that the atmosphere has changed, whether there was a change in staff or the time of arrival.
I was surprised that some people handle books roughly, such as throwing a bag to be returned to the prefectural library into a box away from the seat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 自宅からは倉敷図書館の方が近いのだけれど、駐車場に車を停めるのが面倒なので、こちらを利用する方が圧倒的に多いです。水島地区は役所や郵便局、病院がまとまって立地しているので、私にとってはとっても便利です。
The Kurashiki Library is closer to my home, but it is troublesome to park my car in the parking lot, so it is overwhelmingly more popular. The Mizushima area is very convenient for me because the government offices, post offices, and hospitals are located together.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駐車場は、専用のところと中央公園と共有のところがありますが、土日は混みます。館内は広くたくさんの書物があります。今はインターネットで予約が出来るので、自分の読みたい本を予約して取りに行くことが多いです。

エアコンも聞いております。
さらにあまり見かけない良い名言を集めた将棋本もありました☆
