★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 新開地の繁華街からすぐ近く、水木通り沿いの地域の銭湯。水木しげるの名親となった水木通りに面しています。車で来る場合は近隣のパーキングを利用することになります。土地柄、少し治安が悪いので要注意（車が目の前で酔っ払いに蹴られて凹み、警察に被害届を出すという経験をしました）。浴室は明るく、ジャグジーなどの遊び湯も含めて十分にそろっており、ドライサウナもあります。新開地界隈で飲む前に、または飲んだ後に立ち寄るには便利な銭湯です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔ながらの番台の湯。湯の効能はわからないですが、湯上がりはお肌がさらさら。番台のおばちゃんもお客さんも気さくで色々とお話ししてくれます。昭和20年頃からの老舗。水木しげるのゆかりの地らしく、若い頃隣に住んでたそうです（おばちゃんより）浴室は思っていたよりも清潔、脱衣場の真ん中にレザーのソファがあって何とも言えない感じですね♪仕事で疲れたときにまた来たいです。

脱衣場、浴槽共に「昭和」の面影を今に伝えてくれています。
狭いながらもサウナもしっかり用意されていて、演歌の有線放送を流してくれています。
風呂上がりは昔懐かしい瓶詰めされたコーヒー牛乳を堪能出来ます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 現在、緊急事態宣言のためか、2021年1月31日まで朝の営業を中止しています。
サウナが無料な上に、フェイスタオル２枚を無料貸してくれるので、バスタオルは持っていかなくてもOKですが、シャンプーや石鹸は持参する必要があります。
サウナは90℃くらいで若干低め、人も３人ほどで一杯ですが、水風呂は冷たく、風呂は快適な温度と深さなので温冷浴にはもってこいです。最近サウナ室に砂時計だけでなく、普通の目覚まし時計みたいなものも置かれましたが、壊れないのかな……？
シャワーもレバーをひねるとお湯が出っぱなしのタイプなので、いちいちボタンを押さなくていいので洗髪に助かります。
サウナがもう少し温度が高ければ☆５ですが、総合的に見て特に不満の無い良い銭湯です。
