 On the way back from Onomichi across the Shimanami Kaido, we stopped at the port on the way from Imabari to Innoshima.

Murakami Suigun Museum is 2 km (more than 20 minutes on foot). If you take a high-speed boat from here, it is Imabari in 20 minutes.

どちらも愛想は良くありませんが、ぶっきら棒なだけで悪い人ではありませんでした
が、フェリーの船員はダメダメでしたね
元漁師の方なのかもしれませんが、接客というものを知らないのでしょう

Neither is amiable, but they were just blunt sticks and not bad people.
But the ferry sailors didn't work
You may be a former fisherman, but you probably don't know how to serve customers.

近隣に店などは無く自販機のみです。
ノンビリとした空気が流れています。
I used it on the way back from cycling to the Shimanami Kaido.
There are no stores in the neighborhood, only vending machines.
Non-billy air is flowing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff really helped us out travelling back, we were stuck with directions, who to talk to and they made a few calls and got us out of the place as a breeze. One of the best services I've ever experienced aswell as a stunning view.
