★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本校は、学区内「家の近く」とあって毎年のように文化祭に足を運んでる一人です。中でもスタンプラリーやコント付きのビンゴ大会が一番の楽しみで来年も足を運んでみたいですね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 母校ですが全国稀に見る変わった高校です。卒業生の繋がりも強く、偏差値は仙台二高に負けていますが、人生が大きく変わるような非常に刺激的な学校です。何より学校行事が多く、特徴のある先生、特徴のある生徒、そして何より100年以上の伝統高です。子供４人ですができることなら全員入学させたいものです。

The graduates have strong ties and the deviation value is defeated by Sendai Daini High School, but it is a very exciting school that will make a big difference in your life. Above all, there are many school events, characteristic teachers, characteristic students, and above all, a tradition of over 100 years. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 何でも壱高といわれ、文武両道！入学できたらバカになれる。良い意味でなんでも打ち込める。秀才タイプのガリ勉もいるが、大抵部活だったり、バイトだったり、文化祭に命をかける変人が多い。でも、みんな結構いい大学や就職先に行くんだよね。人生の要領を得てるというか。因みに、先生はあまり重要ではない。自学自習ができる人が多く、高校だけど大学みたいな雰囲気で、色んな奴が自分で考えて活動している場所。それが一高。

市内でここまで見事な桜は数少ないと思います。
吉野作造、井上ひさし、塩野義製薬社長の手代木功氏等、多方面で活躍するOBの母校。
自発能動、自重献身という、素晴らしい校風があります。
勉強をしろとは一切言われません。
共学化で校風に多少の変化はあったかもしれませんが、一高の精神に変わりはないでしょう。
旧北学区の生徒は、積極的に一高を目指して欲しいものです。
茶畑に通い、宮城県はもとより、日本と世界に貢献する一高生の活躍を望みます。
