現在でも水を湛えていますが白濁しており明らかに飲めそうにありません
近代以前は多くの旅人の喉を潤してきたのでしょうね
 It is a stone-framed well on the slope of Funasaka Toge.
It's still filled with water, but it's cloudy and obviously not drinkable.
Before modern times, it probably moistened the throats of many travelers.
