神力は130年前に丸尾重次郎が発見し、西日本全域に広まった明治の名米、神力(しんりき)発祥の地。初代カリフォルニア米でもあります。現在は復刻され、5ヘクタールの田んぼで栽培されています。地元、御津小学校五年生の地域学習授業にも取り入れられています。栽培委託先の本田商店さんから同名のお酒が作られていますが、全量こちらの神力米です。
 We are cultivating Hyogo Nishiki, a new variety of sake rice and the famous rice of the Meiji era.
Shinriki was discovered 130 years ago by Shigejiro Maruo, and is the birthplace of Shinriki, a famous rice of the Meiji era that spread throughout western Japan. It is also the first California rice. It is now reprinted and cultivated in 5 hectares of rice fields. It is also used in local learning classes for fifth graders at Mitsu Elementary School. The sake of the same name is made by Honda Shoten, a contractor of cultivation, but all of this is Shinriki rice.
