I stopped by a little along the way, but I was interested in the "Nagayamon", where the old Nagaya was also used as a gate.

A memorial hall displaying the achievements of Dr. Hata (contributing to the discovery of Salvarsan, a miraculous drug for syphilis) from Mito-cho, Masuda City, which had exchanges with Hideyo Noguchi. It is also a famous spot for autumn leaves, and large maples that are over 120 years old in the garden usually change color from October to November.

A memorial hall for Dr. Sahachiro Hata, who discovered salbalsan, a silver bullet for syphilis, with Dr. Ehrlich. The exhibition is small, but there is a 25-minute introduction DVD of the doctor, so if you want to watch the DVD, you need some time.
