★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 標高230.9mの山で，岩瀬駅から徒歩15分程度で登山口駐車場へ。駐車場からは20分程度で登れますが，足腰の衰えを思い知りました（ゼイゼイ）。山頂付近に御嶽神社とその裏手に展望台があり，なお，駐車場から5分程の途中に滝行所（不動の滝）があります。ここから雨引山，さらに筑波連山を縦走する「関東ふれあいの道」のハイキングコースでもありますが，目的は御嶽神社参拝でしたので，これにて駐車場へ引き返すとしましょう。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 地元の方々の手によって登山道が整備されているので、大変登りやすい山です。ほぼ頂上付近に御嶽神社と展望台もあり、桜川市が一望に眺められます。りんりんロード岩瀬休憩所に車を停めて、2時間程度で登って帰ってこれる軽いハイキングコースで楽しめます。

景色は良いのですが、三角点と御嶽山の標識が見つからず、登っている方々に聞いて山頂のちょい先で左に草むらと道があって進むとあります(笑)
分かりづらいよね～って皆様が言ってました?

The scenery is good, but I can't find the triangulation point and the sign for Mt. Ontake, so I asked the climbers and they said that there was a grassy road on the left at the top of the mountain (laughs).
