このあたりが丘陵だったころ、ここの雑木林の中に御嶽様の祠があった。
ながい間地元の人々は村や家を災害から守る神として信仰してきたが、昭和四十四年ごろ百草八幡宮に合祀された。

When this area was a hill, there was a shrine of Utaki-sama in the wooded area here.
For a long time, the local people worshiped as a god who protects villages and houses from disasters, but they were enshrined at Mogusa Hachimangu around 1945.
