８月下旬の港まつりの花火は、大曲の花火の翌週で、大曲の業者があげているので、盛り上がります。
３月のほっきまつり等、イベントが結構あります。
駐車場も広く、近くの公園にトイレもあります。
イベントの時の出店は、美味しいが揃っています。
