★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite a hike for the unitiated city dwellers but still possible just take your time. Very opposite to the hustle of Osaka. Observation is about the lovely hike up not just the view, which is okay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The climb requires you to be physically fit. Steep stairs and no rest stops in between. Took us about 20 minutes to reach the beautiful view at the top. The Minoh area in general is absolutely beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ don’t let the “300+ steps” signage at the bottom of the trail fool you- the stairs are steep with rocky paths along the way. The view is nice though, but maybe better to go here after going to the waterfalls..
