★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 7月15日に行ったのですが千代岸壁に佐世保から護衛艦すずづきが入港して一般、していました。
晴天で日差しがきつかったのですが一般公開で艦内に入るのに.時間半ぐらい待つほどの長い列ができました。
長蛇の列で退屈しないようにラッパ吹奏や結索・手旗等の実演をやってくれていました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「みなと公園」は賀露港内の船舶係留岸壁に沿って細長く繋がる公園で海風潮風を間近に感じながら青い海と鳥ケ島、突堤(テトラポット)や釣り人の様子を眺めながら散策できる公園です。
遊歩道に遊び心のあるベンチが随所に置いてあるから散策に疲れたら腰を下ろして一休み、静かに海を眺めてみるのもいいです。
公園に入って直ぐに太陽の傾きを計算設計の日時計があります。
陰が15時と16時の間、16時に陰がかかりそうな微妙な位置を示しています。
時計を見れば午後3時38分を指しています。なかなか確かな日時計で感心し面白く楽しい気持ちになりました。
「みなと公園」はその他にも賀露港にまつわる歴史的な出来事に関しての案内板や遊歩道に北海道の地図が描かれていたりと興味は尽きません。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鳥取港に面した公園で、芝生の広場やベンチなどがあり、釣りのポイントになっています。トイレは無いので、かろいちのトイレまで行かなければならず、ピクニックや釣り人には不便です。また、弁当やおやつを狙うトンビが多数いるので、ピクニックでお弁当を広げると被害に遭います。日傘などで上空から見えないように注意が必要です。
