★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 旧南砂東小学校、団地内にあるので住民にはとても便利です。今は分かりませんが、区内でも治安が良かったので穏やかな小学生時代を過ごせたと思います。東京の学校としては校庭がとても広いと思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 南砂町小学校は周辺では一番最初に開校された後に「団地の建設が増えて東西に別れた」のです。その際に左側の体育館で少林寺拳法(元深川の見識ある方です)が数十年も○○先生が指導して行われていたのです。その当時の「新砂は何も無かった場所」でした。未だに自販機も無いのですね。元々は全てが埋立地です。元町の唯一砂町銀座通りが栄えて居りましたが、時代と共に新町の新砂へと代わりつつご座居ます。行き違いの切はご容赦下さいませ。本所６代末孫
