★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although the shop is located at a place away from the crowded tourist streets of Kawaramachi, you can easily find it with the help of Google Maps. In my opinion, it is a hidden gem.
The shop has many unique yukata designs in different sizes. I and a friend of mine could find here a low-priced beautiful yukata for the Gion Festival.
As a customer, you are warmly welcomed and get a good consultation. The fact that one can try on these yukata made my decision easier.
I highly recommend going to this shop if you wish for a bit consultation before buying a yukata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here to look for yukata. Their yukata prices range from about $50 all the way up to $350. They have the slip, ties, obi, and sandals available. Only shopped on the first floor so can't describe other wares available. The yukata I bought was $350 and of excellent quality. The pattern is based on a traditional kimono so it's not as summery and bright as many yukata you will find elsewhere. They had a fantastic range of colors and styles, it was great to see some things outside the ordinary. My friend bought a yukata that was $100 and the quality was still fantastic compared to other places we went to, highly recommend them for the quality. Additionally, sizes ranged from small to I think 3L, so plus size can be accommodated here.
The employees here were beyond excellent and went out of their way to be helpful and try to speak to us in English. The woman who helped us the most was amazing at pointing out good obis to try with our chosen yukata, and helped us try on and compare styles. It was so nice to have someone with a good eye assist in coordinating the pieces. From stepping in to the moment we left it was a fantastic shopping experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We absolutely loved shopping here while we were in Kyoto. The staff were excellent and very helpful throughout the process (my husband and I bought our first kimonos here).
North American sizes can be tricky, so be patient with the lovely people here, and come by when you have some time to properly try the garments on - it's worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic range of items and amazingly helpful staff. They helped my girlfriend pick the perfect pattern and showed all the accessories she could add to it for the full set for a reasonable price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great shop not far from Kyoto train station. Service was excellent and English spoken gentleman was so enthusiastic and spent time ensuring I got exactly what I wanted. He made a point of identifying a variety of products at varying prices an did not push to buy the most expensive. He also took time to show me how to wear the yakata and obi correctly and also gave me a tour of the shops other product with a good explanation of the occasion the items should be worn. If your looking to buy an authentic good quality product this is the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice experience!
This is a serious kimono shop (and not a touristy ’souvenir shop‘)!
They also sell larger sized high quality yukatas for TALL men (i.e. ’tall‘ even for European/American standards), although those seem to be in the higher price range.
The staff is very forthcoming and helpful, and some of the staff speak excellent English.
I am a satisfied customer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful shop with extremely welcoming staff! We went in and every staff member was friendly and helpful, directing us to the correct size racks which were all clearly labeled by price. They had a wide selection of patterns and even had sizes for my 6’3 husband! We were able to try on the yukata and they showed us how to tie the belts and gave us take home instructions as well. We were so pleased with the whole experience! A fantastic shop, definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The shop owners were very nice and helpful, and the yukata we got were massively discounted (50-75% off). They taught us how to tie the obi (and gave us instruction papers to refer back to), and also gave us sightseeing advice and which bus lines to take. Shinichi, the owner, was very kind to offer us a tour of the upper levels and view the beautiful kimono.
