いわゆるお勉強の時間はなく、園児の自主性を尊重した遊びが中心の「のびのび園」だが、生活習慣や集団生活のルールについてはきちんと教えられている。
週2～3回は給食が出る・上履き袋や着替え袋などの持ち物はいずれも市販品ですませて良いため園生活全般における保護者の負担は比較的軽い方だと思う。
行事の準備や手伝いなどで保護者の出番はやや多いが、その分子供たちの園での様子をよく知ることができる。
1回100円で延長保育も受けられる。
小学校と隣接しており、年長児は小学校への訪問および小学生との交流があるため、親は情報収集しやすく、子供は入学後スムーズに学校生活を始められるのが大きな利点。
