Newer ryokan compare to the rest. Only 230m away from the station, close to Satono-yu, restaurant and opposite to one of the best pudding i had in Japan. Rooms are large and clean. Breakfast and dinner are also great. Staffs are friendly and helpful. They really do go extra mile to make you feel welcome.

Staying at mikuniya gave us the privilege of reserving their private onsen rooms for free at designated hours. It's worth the visit even if it's out of the way of the major tourist routes. Check out is at 11am so you can have a good breakfast before leaving. Would recommend coming here.

Amazing room, friendly staff. Very traditional feel, with close and convenient onsens. You also get to schedule a private hour for those who aren't comfortable being in the nude with strangers. You are also served breakfast in the morning with a reserved table. Loved it!

Super friendly and welcoming staff, cushy huge room, excellent service, and tasty food. This ryokan is also close to the station and not too far from other public onsen. Our package included passes to the public onsen in town, dinner, breakfast, rental yukata, and private booking of their own onsen for 1 - 2 hours. The dinner was pretty much a banquet. We felt properly spoiled during our stay here! Recommended!

We loved our stay at Mikuniya and would certainly be back. We stayed for one night. The staff helped us put on the yukata. Using the public bath pass they provided, we visited 2 onsens in the evening before we headed back to our room for crab nabe dinner, which was incredibly filling and tasty. We also took advantage of our private onsen booking (which we booked at check in). Breakfast the next morning was traditional Japanese style breakfast, which we enjoyed but may not be enjoyable for all foreign guests. Also took another dip in the onsen aftee breakfast (no booking required, just check if the onsen is vacant). They have Mikuniya post cards that you can fill out and they will send for you. I loved the snacks they had provided in our rooms so much that I purchased more from a souvenir store in Kinosaki. Worth the price! The staff were all able to speak some English but I'm not sure how much exactly, because we spoke to them in Japanese. Staff were all super friendly! Absolutely worth the price and I can't wait to come back sometime.

We had a very nice stay at Mikuniya. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. most of them knew English, or at least enough English to get by, which was a huge bonus for us. It was a great little traditional in with three baths in house. The onsen in town we're all very close, farthest was about 15m away on foot.

Kokoro-no-yado Mikuniya delivered the perfect Ryokan experience! It is easily accessible as you just have to walk 5 minutes from Kinosakionsen Station to reach the Ryokan. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They went great lengths to make our stay as pleasant as possible. They changed our dinner last minute to Shabu Shabu because we are not able to eat fish products and sea food. Moreover, they prepared a lunch package for us as we had to check out very early in the morning the next day and couldn’t eat breakfast in the Ryokan. We have not experienced any better hospitality during our stay in Japan. The private Onsen of Mikuniya were amazing and we had the chance to experience all Onsen in town due to the Yumepa pass the Ryokan gave us for free. We will definitely come back to stay at this wonderful Ryokan.

We were very impressed by the friendly and welcoming staff at Mikuniya. The ryokan is very close to the station and a short walk from all the public onsen in town. They provide yukata and geta for you to use during your stay, the rooms are large and comfortable, and there are also 3 private onsen on site with views of the garden that we recommend. The kaiseki dinner was fantastic, and they were very accommodating to my fiancé, who doesn't eat seafood.
