★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 初めて包丁の修理を頼みました。全国から依頼があるとの事で1ヶ月待ちでしたが、待っても頼みたくなる研屋さんです。とても丁寧に説明してくれて、学生の時から30年使っている包丁が見違える包丁になりました。2丁お願いしたのですが、出来上がった包丁を見たときは涙が出そうなくらい感動しました。これからは1ヶ月に一度、砥ぎをお願いしようと思います。

He explained very carefully, and the kitchen knife that I have been using for 30 years since I was a student has become a misunderstanding. I asked for two knives, but when I saw the finished knives, I was so impressed that I could tear. From now on, I would like to ask you to grind once a month.

一週間掛かり、費用は3,500円くらいでした。相場は知りませんが、仕上がりには大満足でした。購入当初よりも切れ味がよい気がするほどです。
I asked to sharpen one Petty knife and one Beef sword.
It took one week and cost about 3,500 yen. I don't know the market price, but I was very satisfied with the finish. I feel that the sharpness is better than when I first purchased it.

包丁は別物になって新品の様なな仕上がりです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5,000円以上の包丁なら研いで貰った方が安いと言う事で利用したが、とんでもない業物になって帰ってきた。この価格でこのクオリティ…研ぎとはかくも凄いものだと教えて頂いた。説明も丁寧で大変分かりやすくありがたい。普段の手入れが大事だとも教わったが、このコスパであればまた研ぎに出せばいいやと思うほど。近場の人は是非おすすめする。
I used it because it was cheaper to sharpen a knife for 5,000 yen or more, but it came back as a ridiculous business. At this price, this quality ... I was told that sharpening is just amazing. The explanation is also polite and very easy to understand. I learned that it is important to take care of it on a regular basis, but I think it would be good to sharpen it again at this cospa. I highly recommend it to people in the vicinity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 料理を作るたびに切れ味がすごくて幸せになるってことがあるんですね。台所リフォームしたので、包丁も新しくしたいと思い、牛刀と三徳を買いました。ちょっと高めの物だったのですが、うまく言えませんがさくっと切れるたびに感動。妻の帰りが遅く、不満たらたらで料理を作っていましたが、毎日の料理が楽しみです。
今までの包丁は安物ですが、娘にもらったものなので、今研いでもらっているところ…これも楽しみです。あと、ペティナイフが欠けてしまっているのですが、これも相談したら治せますよとのこと。早く持っていこーっと。

どうせ買うなら職人のが良い❗️ってのりで訪問しました。
店主さんは、とても知識も豊富で『何をどうやって、何をしたいのか』を聞き出してくれ、ど素人の私でも使いやすくリーズナブルなモノを勧めていただけました?
ちゃんと握って、シックリくるかみてもらい、今回、出刃包丁だけの予定が柳刃包丁や釣行の際に使うナイフまで欲しくなり購入でした。
ついつい話が弾み、長居してしまいましたね?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The only "Hamono" seller I know of in Fukushima.
Rather wide selection in terms of type of blades, from Kitchen Knives to Kiridashi to scissors etc.
Their selection of kitchen knives is what you would expect in this part of the country: Mostly traditional single bevel Japanese knives but also some Santoku, Nakiri and Petty knives. I haven't seen any Gyuto though.
The lady who was working there during my visit seemed busy and didn't talk to me but considering there must not be a lot of foreigners going there, she might have just been shy to initiate a conversation.
All in all, a good place with good products at decent prices.
