★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thicky thick mabo tofu with jagged-cut noodles. legit spicyness if you go "chu-kara". They also have a "geki-kara" challenge for that same dish, but if you don't finish it you have to pay a fine of 2000 yen lol....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Mabou-Dofu is popular and a good choice if you don't have much time, but I decided to try their Tan-Tan Tousho Men, which is a spicy soup with very thick cut home made noodles, which was delicious and a huge portion, so go in hungry. Remember to get the paper apron to protect your clothes.
The restaurant is small and even though I arrived during mid-lunch the wait was quick and I agreed to using a shared a table. The prices are reasonable and the restaurant seems very popular with locals.
