紺碧の空に舞い上がるグライダーをこんなに間近で見られる関東有数ののスポットです。
間近で見るグライダーの風切り音は、なかなか迫力があります。
今度はお弁当など持参して見物客になるかな？！(^_^)v

そばに学生航空連盟訓練所(合宿所)があります。
ウインチ(エンジン巻き取り機)曳航が中心ですので、切り離し高度は低く、ワンフライトは短めで、すぐに戻ってきます。
特に春の新人合宿時はそうですね。
