★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 音羽から小石川や目白台にあがる坂のうちでは並外れて急。道も狭く、自動車は通れないものの、上から突っ込んでくる自転車にはご注意。幕府の御持筒組屋敷と射撃場があったことが名の由来だそうです。
It is exceptionally steep on the slopes that rise from Otowa to Koishikawa and Mejirodai. The road is narrow and cars cannot pass, but be careful of bicycles that come in from above. It is said that the name comes from the fact that there was a shooting range and a mansion of the shogunate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 細い路地裏にあるとてもつない急斜面の坂です。江戸時代に坂の近くの崖を利用して鉄砲の射撃練習をした的場があったそうで、名前の由来になりました。音羽の谷から目白台に登る坂はどれも急坂が多いです。
It is a very connected steep slope behind a narrow alley. It seems that there was a place where you practiced shooting guns using the cliff near the slope in the Edo period, which is the origin of the name. Most of the slopes that climb from Otowa Valley to Mejirodai are steep.
