★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 明徳寺は名古屋市名東区にある真宗高田派の寺院。山号は正暾山。1391年(明徳2年)に創建されたと伝わる。1662年(寛文2年)現在地に移転。本堂は1860年頃に建立されたものである。山門前右側に下社城址の石碑が建っており、柴田勝家の生誕地として知られている。 本尊は阿弥陀如来。寺宝として柴田勝家像を安置する。本堂左の十王堂には、名古屋市指定民俗文化財の木造の十王像がある。
Meitokuji is a temple of the Shinshu Takada school in Meito-ku, Nagoya. The mountain number is Mt. A stone monument of the ruins of Shibata Castle is built on the right side in front of the Sanmon Gate, and is known as the birthplace of the Shibata Katsuie. The principal image is Amida Nyorai. The statue of Shibata Katsuie is enshrined as a temple treasure. On the left side of the main hall, there is a wooden statue of the Ten Kings, a folk cultural property designated by Nagoya City.
