ハードな路面ではありませんが、バイクで行く方はブロックタイヤが必要です
5月には山菜取りとおぼしき4輪がちょくちょくいますので、すれ違いには注意してください

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 荘川側からロードバイクで行きました。
路面状況が分からずロードバイクで行ってしまった事に後悔しました。
とても乗って走行出来る状況では有りませんでした。結局2-3キロバイクを押して歩きました。
救いはシューズがマウンテンバイク用だったので歩けました。
ロードでは行ってはいけませんね。
マウンテンバイクなら楽しめると思います。
峠を超えると何とか走行出来る程度の路面になりますが所々アスファルトに穴が空いていたり砂利道の駅が有りますので十分な注意が必要です。
ただ、スキーゲレンデの道の駅を走れたという満足感がありました。
紅葉の時期はさらに感動する景色が期待できますね！
I went by road bike from Shogawa side.
I regretted having gone on a road bike without knowing the road surface.
It wasn't in a situation where I could get on and ride. After all, I pushed a 2-3 kilo bike and walked.
I could walk because my shoes were for mountain bikes.
Do n’t go on the road.
I think mountain bikes can be enjoyed.
Beyond the pass, the road surface will be able to run somehow, but there are holes in the asphalt and there are gravel road stations, so be careful.
However, I was satisfied that I was able to run on the ski slope roadside station.
You can expect even more impressive scenery during the autumnal season!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 明宝-荘川林道。通称「カマクラミチ」。その名の通りに、もちろん冬季通行止め。
徒歩の場合で登山道に入る場合は、GPS携帯持参して下さい。docomoはほぼ圏外、AUは4G可能でした。
車で明宝スキー場側から登って来た場合、この先の凡そ3km区間は完全未舗装となり、離合可能な箇所は数カ所しか無いです。
登録地点は未舗装入口部分であり、真の峠頂点は水芭蕉群生地辺りになりますが、勾配キツく路面状況も悪く、2駆の普通乗用車での侵入はオススメ出来ないです(腕があればギリギリ行ける)。
逆に荘川側からの場合は、登り勾配はそれほどキツくはないので、普通乗用車でも行けなくはないです。渓流釣り目的の人は、こちらからアプローチするのが無難。何れにしても降雨時は洗堰含めて泥濘ので、基本的には無闇に入るべきではないです。
登坂部分に敷かれた採石サイズが大きく、ガラ場じみており、タイヤへのダメージ大きいです。
普通にアプローチしたいなら、ジムニー等の小型四駆が楽です。

If you climb from the Meiho Ski Resort side by car, the section about 3 km ahead will be completely unpaved, and there are only a few places that can be joined.
The registration point is the unpaved entrance area, and the true brow apex is in the area around the water swarms group, but the road surface condition is also poor, so we can not recommend entry into a two-wheeled ordinary car (arms I can go to the last minute).
On the contrary, if you are from the Sho River side, the slope is not so hard, so you can not go on a regular passenger car. People for mountain stream fishing are safe to approach from here. Anyway, when it rains, it is muddy including washing, so basically you should not go in darkness.
The size of the quarry laid on the uphill part is large, and it looks like a rattle, and the damage to the tire is large.
If you want to approach normally, it is easy to use a small 4WD such as Jimny.
