★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名駅から帰る時についつい寄ってしまいます。20時台でもレジ待ち列が出来ます。値段がわかり易く１つ95円で人気なのは赤餡ですが、個人的には白餡の甘味が好きなので白餡派です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名古屋駅の近鉄パッセの地下１階に入っているお店「御座候」、昔はよくおばあちゃんが買ってきてくれてワタクシも子供の頃から親しみのあるお店でもありますが今回は久しぶりにお店の前を通ったので購入していきました。
コチラで売っているのは御座候、いわゆる大判焼きですね、赤あんと白あんの２種類がありどちらも１個９５円です。
ふっくらした生地の中にはそれぞれたっぷりのつぶあんと白あんが詰まっています。ほどよい甘さの粒あんにまろやかな甘さの白あん、どちらも美味しいですね。
派手さはないですが素朴な味わいが飽きることなく長年親しまれてきている理由なんでしょうね、ワタクシもたまに食べたくなるのでまた近くに来たときには購入していきたいと思います、ごちそうさまでした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 北海道産小豆を使ってひとつひとつ手焼きしている御座候。小麦粉ベースの生地に小豆あんがたっぷり入った大判焼きで、1つ95円でとてもリーズナブルな和菓子です。御座候といえば店頭実演販売で有名ですが職人さんの手さばきはお見事です。赤あんと白あんがありますが、売れ筋はダントツで赤あんのようで職人さんもほぼ赤しか作っていません。ひとつ210kcalなので間食のおやつには十分なボリュームです。

おもたせにしても喜ばれますし、
私は…だいたい電車に乗る前に購入します。
この日買ったのも赤と白。
どちらもひとつ95円税込と安心価格。
赤はいわゆる普通のあんこ（つぶ餡）
白は白あん。
おやつ饅頭だと栗とか季節のフレーバーとか発売してるけれど
ここは多分ずっとこの二種類のみ。
よく売れてるし…いつも安定行列の人気店だし。。。
自分は白あん派なのですが、
どちらも変わらず美味しいですよ。
焼き立ても美味しいのですが、
半日置いてから食べても美味しい気がします。
お店の方に、持ち帰ったらケースを即分解
小分けした方が良いとのアドバイスをいただきました。
皮と皮とか…包装に皮がへばりつくようですね。
呼び方については地方によって様々で、
私は大判焼きと呼んでいました。
全国的には今川焼きと呼ぶ地域が多いでしょうか。
（店によりそれぞれ固有の名称を付けていることも多く、
中村区のおやつ饅頭は店名と同じくおやつ饅頭。
ここは当然「御座候」
三重県だと万古焼とも呼ぶところもあるようです。
三重県だと近鉄四日市駅の近鉄百貨店1Fの店舗が唯一の店舗）
どんな高級和菓子より嬉しい「御座候」
