★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今年は校内で窃盗があったり、自転車のマナー違反が多かったりと悪い評判も聞きますが、いじめとかはあんまり聞かないのでその点は良いかなと思います。
This year, we hear bad reviews such as theft in the school and many violations of bicycle manners, but I don't hear much about bullying, so I think that is a good point.

This school is the predecessor of the former Matsuyama Junior High School (for Akiyama Yoshiko, the Matsuyama Domain School Meikyoukan), which was once taught by the Akiyama Brothers and Shiki Masaoka and taught by Soseki Natsume. It is the oldest high school in the prefecture and has a tradition since the old Matsuyama junior high school, following the tradition of the clan school and Meikyoukan. The first principal was Kusama Tokiyoshi, who had a great influence on the school spirit. He taught for a year until Soseki Natsume was assigned to Fifth High School when he was in Ehime Prefecture's ordinary junior high school, and based on this experience, the novel "Botchan" was drawn.
