★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この金井山の尾根は奇妙山の尾根に特徴的な岩石尾根の中でも非常に強く特徴が出ていて、そこら中に大きな岩が存在しています。この険しい地形を生かした山城で、とても大きな堀切が特徴的です。ちなみに金井山城の立札が立っている場所は、大室古墳群の455号墳としてカウントされていますが、城の一部として古墳時代より後に作られたのか、もともと古墳だったものが城の建造に伴って少し破壊されたのかははっきりしません。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 標高485m、比高135m。南東に林道があって車で近くまで登れるけど、ダンプカー通ってる。(((^^;)
かすか~に残った前登城者の足跡は、ソコソコのヤブの急斜面直登と巨石の岩場に向かってて なかなかアスレチック♪(^o^;
遺構は主郭の土塁に 巨石を利用した堀切などで 岩場ゴツゴツの山城になってた。
天分19年(1550)、ここの城主だった金井氏を救援に真田幸隆が軍を率いて来ている。血縁者だったらしい。(◎-◎;)
古墳がたくさんある山城あるあるなトコ♪
