★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 松代の扇状地に分布する大規模な合掌式石室古墳です。合掌式石室古墳は古墳の中の石室の屋根の部分を、屋根のような山形に組み合わせた古墳で、全国的にも貴重なものです。その中でも大規模なものはこの松代に3つ分布し、その中の一つです。この竹原笹塚は、墳丘がそのまま残っており内部を観察することは出来ません。過去に発掘が行われています。2017-18年にかけて周囲がドッグランも兼ねた設備として整備されて、位置がわかりやすくなりました。
It is a large-scale gassho-style Ishimuro burial mound distributed in the alluvial fan of Matsushiro. The Gassho-style Ishimuro tumulus is a tumulus that combines the roof of the stone chamber in the tumulus into a mountain shape like a roof, and is valuable nationwide. Among them, three large-scale ones are distributed in Matsushiro, and one of them. The inside of this Takehara Sasazuka cannot be observed because the mound remains as it is. Excavations have been carried out in the past. From 2017-18, the surrounding area was improved as a facility that doubles as a dog run, making it easier to find the location.
