★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 古くからある民間経営の火葬場（火葬場本体の名前は西寺尾火葬場だが、隣接する斎場をふくめて西寺尾会堂と呼ぶらしい）。いまどきの火葬場には珍しい高い煙突がある。炉の形式は重油焚きのロストル式で、焼骨がバラバラになる欠点はあるが、早く収骨できる（約１時間）。設備は古いが火葬技術は確かで、職員の対応も丁寧。ただ火葬棟には冷暖房がないようなので、夏場冬場は辛いかも。
東横線妙蓮寺の駅から歩いて行ける距離だが、住宅街の中にあるのでわかりづらく、モバイルマップは必須である。
 An old privately owned crematorium (the name of the crematorium itself is the Nishiterao cremation ground, but it seems to be called the Saiterao Kaikan, including the adjacent temple). There is an unusual high chimney in a modern crematorium. The furnace type is a heavy oil-fired rooster type, which has the disadvantage that the burned bones fall apart, but can be quickly boned (about 1 hour). The equipment is old, but the cremation technology is reliable, and the staff responds carefully. However, since there is no air conditioning in the crematorium, it may be painful in summer and winter.
Although it is within walking distance from the Toyoko Line Myorenji station, it is difficult to understand because it is in a residential area, so a mobile map is essential.
