横川は高速道路ができる前は山越えの難所で、そこに茶屋と言った風情の休憩所があり、峠の釜めしが売られていたことで有名だった。
このサービスエリアでも釜めしを売っているが、この日はランチ後なのでデザートでも食べようと、探しているとこの店を発見した。
味噌ソフトクリームがある。
味噌も長野名物の一つだし、珍しい味噌ソフトを是非食べてみよう。
バニラ味のソフトに味噌が練りこまれたものではなく、普通のソフトクリームに味噌ソースがかかったもの。
ソフトクリームの甘さと味噌のしょっぱさが相まって美味しい。
スイカに塩をかけたような？味わいで、甘さとしょっぱさのアンバランスが中々美味しい！
