バス停留所の中に鬼の象とかあると面白いかな（できればちょっとおどろおどろしい奴があると雰囲気が出ていいです）

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 現在はバス停としては使われていませんが、地域興しの為の観光名所として大切に保存されています。停留所の小屋の隣に建つ細い電柱には、この場所が古くから「鬼死骸」と言う地名であったことを証明する「鬼死骸」と記されたプレートが取り付けられています。
停留所の内には「鬼死骸停留所自由帳」も吊り下げられており、この地を訪れた思い出を書き記す事が出来ます。
アルコール消毒液も用意されています。
すれ違った地元の方も笑顔で頭を下げて下さり、訪れる人をあたたかく迎えてくれます。
駐車場はありません。
『鬼死骸』の地名は、平安時代に蝦夷(エゾ)と呼ばれていた東北地方を治めようと、坂上田村麻呂率いる朝廷軍がこの地を訪れた際に、この地を治めていた蝦夷(えみし)の大武丸と戦い、討ち果たし、この地に亡骸を埋めた事に由来するそうです。
また、その首は宮城県大崎市鬼首(おにこうべ)へ飛んで行った事から、「鬼首」の地名になったとも伝えられています。
