家に見積もりに来てもらったが、ものすごく汚い手口で金をふんだくろうとされた。畳をフローリングにしようと思い見積もりに来てもらった。女の営業らしき人が来た。畳の部屋を見るやいなや、ここ全部フローリングにしますか？この広さなら全部フローリングにした方がいいですよ。と、去年張り替えたばかりの隣の部屋の綺麗な床をフローリングにした方がいいと進めて来た。もちろん断った。そして畳をざっと見て見積もりは1週間くらいで出しますから。と言ったが、話を進めて行くうちに、支払いは私ではなく父がすると言った途端、目を光らせて、それならいくらでも払えるわね！という感じの反応を見せた。そして、じゃあ今ざっと見積もり出しちゃいましょうか。と書類を書き始めた。私に渡されたのは合計だけが書かれた紙。そして言った言葉は、明日までに連絡をくれたら5万円値引きします。そしたら、明後日にサンプル持って来ます。明日までと言われてしまった…。時間と情報の流入を制限させる為の手口だった。もちろん私は他の会社と比較をしたかったので急いですぐ他の会社に見積もりに来てもらった。他の会社が出してくれた見積もりは、木下工務店の半額ほどの値段だった。木下工務店の営業の女は畳の下に木で置き床を組むだけで六畳一部屋35万円はかかると言った。そんなにかかるわけがない。私がまだ若くて何もわからないと思って、色々上手いこと言いくるめてしまおうという感じだった。私にも警戒心くらいはあります。
