H	HIRO on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1912年（大正元年）開業。石巻線と気仙沼線が乗り入れる。気仙沼線BRT（バス高速輸送システム）は2015年から乗り入れている。気仙沼線BRTは柳津駅～気仙沼駅を中心に運転されていますが、2019年10月現在1日5往復が前谷地駅～気仙沼駅を結んでおり、前谷地駅～柳津駅間は、全て一般道を走行します。最初は鉄道トンネルや橋梁をバスで走行する楽しみがありましたが、鉄路がアスファルトで固められ撤去された駅舎跡や残された跨線橋を見ると、鉄道が走っていた頃を思いだし寂しくなります。 Opened in 1912.
