Best Grocery store in japan

W	W Johnson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great grocery store beneath the Richmond Oshiage hotel (a great place to stay). Life Supermarket has two main levels, the ground floor has cold drinks and chef prepared food for the commuter or tourist on the go. We got most of our breakfasts here the night before (as it opens kinda late @ 9am). As a note late in the evening the chef prepared food is half off. Perfect if you need breakfast or a snack after a day of exploration. As well on this level are other sundry items and a service desk (which also has a mailbox). The basement is a grocery store and had a wide variety of food and household goods. We bought ice cream and food for our stay upstairs in the hotel. Lots of neat things to buy for your trip home (spices, meal kits, odd kitchen utensils, etc). This is a perfectly paired place with the hotel, but also good for locals and consumers.

I stayed at the Richmond hotel right next door and would have breakfast here every morning as it’s cheaper than the hotel food, but equally as good. There is a buffet on the first floor with a nice selection, though I recomment waiting at least 30 minutes after the store opens before going in as they are still preparing some of the dishes.

M	Miss Lilly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge supermarket with the possibility to buy certain products tax free for tourists. The Life Central Square is right next to Tokyo Skytree and the Metro. There’s a nice little place to sit and eat. You‘ll find everything from sushi to pizza. Prices are affordable and especially the freshly prepared sushi was really good. The supermarket is completely wheelchair-accessible and also offers a multi-purpose restroom.
P	P S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great, we were looking for a convenience store and found Life Supermarket instead. It has a lot of prepared food ready to eat, except that everything has plastic packaging, this place is perfect for tourists. The prices are very reasonable. We grabbed a few things from the bakery, I recommend the curry pan. They also carry alcohol and have a good pharmacy section. I was expecting more of a tourist focus in the area so I was surprised to find such a great shop close to Skytree.
