I could tell she was experienced and professional. In addition, she was friendly and talkative which made it a better experience. I will definitely come back.

She does this thing where she plays with your hair and flips it around to get a better understanding of the texture and how it falls/behaves and honestly I can't say I've had any other haircut that really complements my face shape and lets my hair naturally move in a flattering way. It's flattering whichever way I flip it, which is really uncommon for me, and impressively it's equally flattering when it's extra poofy (i.e. on days that are extra humid) as it is when it's flat (i.e. on days that are dry.) She is a pro. She's also a really cool chick, is super nice and speaks fluent English which makes things easy. I cannot recommend her highly enough. My hair is perfect! Send her a message over LINE or Instagram to make an appointment because she works out of this salon but is actually freelance.

J	Janna Hall on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have wavy/curly hair and I have been to Yuri Nabata for a dry cut several times. She is friendly, punctual, speaks English and is a great stylist. You get a lot for the price, and she has a really good eye for how unruly hair will look when cut. I am pretty fussy about who I let touch my hair, but 10/10 would go again. The salon itself is tucked away in a neighborhood, if you have trouble finding it just use google maps and the name is on the mailbox.

Stylist: Yuri Nabata was my hair stylist and I absolutely love the way she cuts my hair every time. She takes her time with my hair and always gives it the volume it needs. She is Japanese but studied in New York, so can cut straight, thin, curly, and pretty much any type of hair out there! She also speaks English fluently, which is a huge plus.

I came in with faded green roots and bright blue tips and left the salon with a beautiful ombré from dark brown to emerald green tips. The salon itself has a comfortable atmosphere; Modern Japanese style with completely white rooms.
