R	Rei Reyes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thought the atmosphere is very nice and there's a lot of seats downstairs. However there are times when it feels like there isn't enough staff. We were waiting over 5 minutes at one point to get a waiter's attention. This is a fairly common problem among Japanese cafes and restaurants though. But it's good to be know beforehand especially if you choose to come during an actual mealtime. The food and coffee was good. Prices are in the reasonable range (for Tokyo that is). I recommend it, and I'm personally coming back here some other time to try their other food. :)

R	Ryo Flying on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Classic, spacious (head to basement), quiet (at least in the morning). 600 yen for a cup of house blend. The gap between this unique calm environment and the outside craziness is unbalanced yet awesome. One star off due to limited menu options. Worth a visit.

It seems the design has not changed a bit since its conception, which is the reason why it is so popular. The B2 is cavernous, and surprisingly quiet. The coffee and cake set was nice enough, but nothing to write about.... Definitely a must-visit for lover of old architecture and design and gone by atmosphere....

Interesting retro-style vibes from the waitstaff and decor to the cake sets and classical music. Worlds away from the frenetic streets of Shinjuku—quite lovely when not too crowded.
L	Ladonna Rama on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stunning old Shōwa kissaten (coffee shop) in the heart of Shinjuku sanchome. Quite a time slip. Hope places like this can stay here forever. Wonderful breakfast set. Delicious! Gorgeous old original decor. A must for kissaten lovers!
