★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here as a part of a large group. The hotel location is very convenient. We were for the most part happy with our room. The staff of this hotel are always accommodating and very helpful. Offer nice price packages over weekends some times. Highly recommended and will stay there again if possible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty horrible hotel for $130 a night. Why are Shinjuku hotels $90 and super clean and Ocean is old and nasty. The floor is uneven and bumpy. The bathroom is like 10 inch step from the hallway...why? There's like 500 Chinese people saying there and pretty popular, not sure why either. Have low expectations than the pictures you see online. This place hasn't been remodeled for 30 years. The hallway in 8th floor smelled super moldy and smelly...must be the carpet because carpet looked filthy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cant wait to return next year. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The design of the building is absolutely fantastic. Great view from our hotel rooms and was very windy. Enjoyed the peaceful moment when sitting on the lakeside with my green tea dessert. These people seemed genuinely happy to do things for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long past its glory days. Staff not helpful in fixing WiFi problems that suddenly occurred in the morning. The nearby FamilyMart convenience store had excellent WiFi. Try the lakeside rooms, landside if you like to view the Shinkansen speeding by.
