Do make sure you have a valid phone number you can give them (so they can contact you if you’re positive), as I saw them refusing to process someone’s application without one.

Emailed results have a digital doctors signature only so you may need to check with your own countries entry rules. Pick up had a written signature with hanko. Choice of saliva or nose test, both the same price, but again check with your particular entry rules. Limited English but you can get by. You will need a QR Code reader app on your phone & don't forget your passport. No reservations permitted. Opens at 10am, I was third in line at 9:40am. All in all a very good service ?

There was two Japanese nice ladies inside at the reception plus a nurse who does the test (for now you can chose to do nose swab or saliva.) You buy the ticket (¥15,000) from the machine and you can only pay cash for now, you give it to a receptionist and they’ll tell you what to do. The whole process took me 30min. The ladies don’t speak much English and the machine doesn’t have English either so it might be a bit tricky for whoever doesn’t speak Japanese. Since there was only two receptionists and no one was there to give us the instructions so the people who came after me was a bit confused what to do. It was a tiny room so the social distance was not practiced. You can chose to get the certificate in person or get it via email. I took the test at 10am and got the result at 7pm the same day. Certificate was written both in Japanese and English. I have no complains, no compliments. Very average experience. Good luck!
