Kusushi Shrine - Aomori

20200314Misawa was sunny, so I went to the 1st Tsugaru City & 2nd Aomori City Bullet Tour! I finished worship at Takayama Inari Shrine and Tsuruta Hachimangu Shrine, and on the way to the next destination "Sannai Maruyama Archeological Site", I saw a torii gate along National Highway 7! Tomon's Kusushi Shrine: There is "Kusushi Shrine" along the road in the area called "Tomon" just after Tsurugasaka on Route 7. We do not know the details of the establishment of this shrine or its history, but there are many shrines named "Kusushi" in the prefecture, and there is also a shrine with the same name in Aomori City. Nationwide, Kusushi Shrine, located on the summit of Mt.Fuji, is famous. However, it seems that the shrine of this door gate is also the same. The shrine sits on a hill that has a large shrine sign and a torii gate, and a climbing path that is slippery with fallen leaves. It is a company. The guardian dog in front of the shrine has a large head and impressive eyebrows and beard curls! The shrine was built with a dense forest on the back. There are many stone Buddhas, stone statues, stone monuments and monuments on both sides of the grounds. It resembles a fox graveyard at Takayama Inari Shrine. The shime rope hanging on the torii was not seen much like "rope noren".
