Kurokawa Forest Road (Shiga side) was almost unpaved, paved between 2017 and 2018, with only a steep slope in front of Shiga Pref. Avoid passing through the forested puddles as there may be Moray frogs and newts etc. I would like you to be careful about the protection of the creature and the fall to the river, especially when passing by a vehicle with an engine. The Black River flows where you can see, but there are not many places where you can easily get close to the water. Even at Golden Week, snow may still be present depending on the year. Of course, the radio wave of the mobile phone will not reach. There is no convenience store unless you return to the city a few kilometers from the forest road entrance. There is a mountain trail entrance to the restroom, Mt. There is a place where you can see Lake Biwa if you extend your foot into the higher mountain.
