★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 関守口から登りましたが入口から２０メートルで右折して道を外れ、直登に近くヒイヒイ言って攻城しました。入口付近が杉の葉で分かりづらくなっているので注意です。ちゃんと道はあり７００メートルで西側の郭に着きます。郭は逆Ｔ字型で底辺の一の字の部分に小さい郭が連なっています。堀切は小規模なものが少し。東の端に行くと渡良瀬川や国道１２２号が見え、逆Ｔ字の先端に下りて行くと駐車場があり、戸屋沢橋登山口からの未舗装林道に繋がります。この駐車場から本郭までは５００メートルなので、ここからが一番楽です。但し未舗装林道は若干ガレてて、深砂利の部分もあるので、オンロードのバイクはちょっとイヤかも知れません。

Guo is a reverse T-shaped, and a small guo is connected to the part of the letter of the base. There are a few small ones in the Horikiri. If you go to the east end, you can see the Watarase River and National Route 122, and if you go down to the tip of the reverse T, there is a parking lot, which leads to a dirt forest road from the Toyazawa Bridge mountain climber. Since this parking lot is 500 meters from Honjo, it is the easiest from here. However, the unpaved forest road is slightly garbled, and there are some deep gravel parts, so the on-road bike may be a little disgusting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 戦国の昔、この辺りは交通の要衝でした。
いまでも、桐生から沼田へ抜ける道が通じていますが、上杉謙信は越後から上州への進撃路とし、また北条は沼田の真田を攻略するために、地元の黒川衆を案内に立てて、山道を踏み分けて行きました。
その地にある五覧田城は、当然のことながら争奪の対象となり、ある時は謙信のものとなり、またある時は北条、さらに金山城の由良氏のものとなりますが、最終的には黒川衆の一人である阿久沢氏が手にしたようです。
まさに戦国時代を象徴するような、目まぐるしい争奪戦の舞台となったのでした。
眺望が素晴らしいという城跡に、ぜひ立ってみたいと出かけたのですが…案内板のある場所から、登るに従って道は狭くなり、木の枝や落石が散乱して、車の通行ができなくなったので、途中で断念して引き返しました(^_^;)徒歩で登る時間が無かったので、またいつか行ってみたいと思います(^_^ゞ

I went out to the castle ruins that the view was wonderful, but as I went out from the place with the guide board, the road became narrow as the climbing, the tree branches and falling rocks were scattered and the car could not pass , I gave up on my way and went back (^ _ ^;) I did not have time to climb on foot, so I'd like to go back someday (^ _ ^ ゞ
