徒歩5分前後の位置にあるのだが、
ひっそりと目立たない場所と言うか、
観光客があまり行かないエリアだから、
存在に気づかず通り過ぎてしまった人も多いだろう。
御祭神は倉稲魂命。
創建年は天慶3年 940年と伝えられている。
平将門を討った事で名高い藤原秀郷が関わっている。
小さな神社ではあるが歴史がある。
この神社で特筆すべきは狛犬。
嘉永7年 1854年の物である。

蔵前 黒船町に移築、
四世(四代目)鶴屋南北が此の神社屋敷で没したそうです
「お染久松色売販」「東海道四谷怪談」などの傑作を書いた人物

狛犬は迫力ある造りです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 田原町駅に近い一本路地に入ったところにあります。石塔など古い感じがしましたので歴史ある稲荷神社だと思います。ちょうど参道の石畳が晴れているのに綺麗に濡れていましたのでお掃除をした直後くらいにお参りさせていただきました。狛犬の感じが他の神社と比べて特徴があり珍しい感じがしました。本殿はこじんまりとした感じが良かったです。参拝後、視線を感じ左手に目をやると可愛い猫がじっとこっちを向いていたので近づいてみても逃げずじっと大人しく見守ってくれていたのが思い出深い出来事となりました。
帰りに自転車で来られた地元にお住いと思われるご年配のマダムに「ここはご利益がある神社なんですよ」と挨拶をされてましたので歴史と共に地域に愛されている神社だと感じられました。
It is located in a single alley near Tawaramachi station. The stone pagoda looks old, so I think it's a historic Inari shrine. Even though the stone pavement on the approach road was sunny, it was clean and wet, so I visited there just after cleaning. The feeling of guardian dogs is unique and unusual compared to other shrines. The main shrine had a nice small feel. After worshiping, when I felt my gaze and looked at my left hand, a cute cat was looking at me, so even if I approached it, I couldn't run away and watched over me quietly, which was a memorable event.
An elderly Madame who seems to live in the local area who came by bicycle on the way back said, "This is a shrine that is profitable," so I felt that it was a shrine that was loved by the region along with history. I did.
