千曲市倉科にある標高520m(比高160m)ほどの山に築かれています。
登山口(写真⑩)から急勾配の道を徒歩約15分で登ると主郭に到着。
写真①のような信濃特有の石垣が周囲を囲んでおり見応えがあります。
主郭から北東の尾根には二重堀切(写真⑤⑥⑦⑧)が連続しており倉科将軍塚古墳(写真⑨)へと続きます。
この古墳跡は曲輪と見られ、背後にも大きな堀切があります。
【歴史】
城主は村上氏の一族倉科氏とされます。武田信玄の信濃侵攻によって村上義清が越後へ逃れた頃に、倉科氏が安曇野方面へ逃れたようです。
【アクセス】
南麓に登山口があります。
近くの倉科の里広場の駐車場が利用できます。

Washio Castle Ruins
It is built on a mountain at an altitude of 520m (relative height 160m) in Kurashina, Chikuma City.
From the trailhead (Photo ⑩), climb the steep road in about 15 minutes on foot to reach the main enclosure.
The stone wall peculiar to Shinano as shown in Photo ① surrounds the area, which is spectacular.
Double Horikiri (Photos ⑤ ⑥ ⑦ ⑧) continues from the main enclosure to the northeastern ridge, leading to the Kurashina Shogun Tsuka Kofun (Photo ⑨).
This burial mound is seen as a Kuruwa, and there is a large moat behind it.
【history】
The owner of the castle is Mr. Kurashina, a clan of Mr. Murakami. It seems that Mr. Kurashina fled to Azumino when Yoshikiyo Murakami fled to Echigo due to Shingen Takeda's invasion of Shinano.
【access】
There is a trailhead at the southern foot of the mountain.
A parking lot is available at the nearby Kurashina no Sato Square.

標高516m、比高155mで奥に登れば天城城、鞍骨城と続く。
石垣がよく残ってて、その後ろの連続堀切も見応えある(*´∀`)♪
登り口の大日堂も手入れされた庭園で、案内板のある駐車場が近くにあるよん♪
?️3年後、ここから鞍骨城に登った。
季節を変えて秋?の登城だったので紅葉色で真っ赤っか???
フッカフカの枯れ葉じゅうたんの写真?を写すと見事な擬態➰?
奥の尾根を進むと水場があった
